I had a Great Dane who also thought he was a lap dog. Not only would he lay on your lap but he’d also back up to you and sit on your lap. He also liked to ride with his head out of the sunroof of my old Probe. He was a great doggo.

I’m 6'3" and his back was at my waist and for most of his life he was about 140lbs, though he got heavier when he was older. About medium for a Dane.
